SECURE DATA REMOVAL
& DESTRUCTION

• Our standard data management process is the automatic removal of all data bearing media from PC’s, laptops, servers, printers and mobile devices. This removes the data risk and concentrates our data risk management process into one controlled physical area of our operation

Blancco Data Wiping Software

• We use the industry leading Blancco data erasure software which meets the UK government standard. The Blancco system allows us to output certificated evidence that the HDD or array has been completely wiped. We use CESG approved software that ensures that data can be managed to baseline or enhanced level as required

Hard Drive Destruction

• We also use Verity Systems SV91 Degaussers which destroys any magnetic media beyond use whether it is disk or tape
• Our EDR HDC-V Hard drive crusher is the only disk destruction device of its type which has been approved for use by the UK Government on the CESG approval list. This industry leading product is the de-facto standard within the US Dept of Defense
• This powerful hydraulic punch stretches and tears through a drive casing warping the disk surface and punching a hole through the entire disk spindle assembly. To date, no organisation has ever been able to recover data from a drive processed by the EDR HDC-V. It was also accredited by ADISA, the UK’s secure recycling trade body
• We can also offer on-site destruction when required using the EDR HDC-V as a mobile solution. Alternatively this facility can be used by clients on an ad hoc basis or leased to use in house at their own site

A certificate of destruction is created at the end of each project which details the destruction of all media by quantity and where applicable by serial number and host asset.
