We have already started our journey to ESG sustainability


Green IT Disposal value the importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria, we are already taking steps on our ESG journey to implement our sustainability strategy to tackle environmental and social issues. As part of our business operation, we will update and report any changes and progress regarding our ESG performance accordingly.
  • ZERO Landfill Policy – every process has a recycling path, ensuring no waste ends up in landfill 
  • NEVER export waste – under any circumstances
  • ALWAYS re-use waste packaging to pack re-saleable IT products
  • Reducing our carbon footprint by: -
  • Optimised collection routes that minimise road miles and reduce emissions
  • Purchase renewable energy  
  • Use packaging products that have high levels of recycled material
  • Refurbish 70% of equipment back into the supply chain
  • 30% broken down for spares and reintroduction into manufacturing
  • Hazardous materials always disposed in a safe, responsible manner
  • Monitor and evaluate technology developments that will enable the aims of Green IT to be supported – such as EV suitability for commercial vehicles
By taking part in the 'Make It Wild' initiative with Dowgill Grange (North Yorkshire woodland), we have been able to offset our carbon footprint by 24 tonnes of CO2 in 2021.
